Produced by Primal Planitz™, a Virginia Business Trust
The Primal Diet™ community started in 1993 when Aajonus Vonderplanitz healed his cancer and other diseases with a diet of raw animal meats and fats and wrote the books We Want to Live and Recipe for Living Without Disease.
30-years later, several of Aajonus’ students and clients came together to testify about the health benefits of the Primal Diet™, share their experiences, and support others on their healing journey.
This being our third year, we are now offering three program tracks plus a children’s program. Join us in magical Burkes Garden, VA to play, relax, connect with others, and learn about optimal health through aligning with the wisdom of Nature.
1) Beginners Program: For folks curious about the Primal Diet but not necessarily on it and folks on the Primal Diet for 0-5 years to ask questions and receive support getting started in the beginning days and years of this journey. Even if you don’t eat raw meat and are curious, we have no judgment. We all were there once. We’ll answer your questions and hold your hand as you explore this way of eating.
2) Intermediate Program: For folks who have been on the Primal Diet for 5 years plus and are either wanting to go deeper into how to make the diet work for you, get recommitted to the diet, or look at adjusting your understanding of the diet to better achieve optimal health.
3) Social Program: This is for folks who are not wanting to attend all the classes, rather just relax in the Primal Planitz environment with other like-minded individuals, sharing food, connecting, singing, dancing, and playing with others. On this track, you can still attend one class per day.
4) Children’s Program: We will be leading structured 2-hour blocks of instruction each day for children 4-14 teaching food preparation and natural living skills.

Children and Safety: This is a working farm in a part-modern part-early 1900’s farming community. Be prepared for open sun, wind, curvy mountain roads, farm animals, and horse and buggies.
Because we are at 3000 feet elevation, the bugs aren’t as bad as other wild areas, but we still have a few. Also, because of the elevation, it’s cooler and windier than other areas. Bring long sleeves, long pants, sweater, hat, and raincoat.
This is a kid friendly event and we are not responsible for watching your kids or for their safety. Any alcohol, drugs, smoking, vaping, pets, nudity, or disruptive behavior will be evicted with NO refund.
Absolutely NO Refunds. We are planning food and other logistics based on your registration. We cannot refund your money once you have registered. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be indoors.
Click here to email us if you have any questions.
We look forward to having you in our Primal Diet™ Community.
It’s time to start experiencing the optimal health you rightly deserve.
